The Hantam mountains are synonymous with Calvinia, they are the majestic landmark that surround our area. Hantamland is the only guesthouse situated on top of this mountain range. A family dream since the Nel family bought the farm Vanrhynshoek nearly 100 years ago!

Hantamland is the perfect luxurious getaway, a two bedroom house with huge open plan kitchen and living area. All catering needs are supplied and it sleeps up to 6 people. The built-in kolkol hottub is the perfect spoil on a cold winters evening under the starry Karoo sky.

For a home away from home feeling, fresh farm bread and roosterkoek as well as lamb meat can be ordered. We also provide wood for the hottub as well as for braaiing.
